Debating workshop with Nick Allen

On 1st April , we had the opportunity to attend a debating workshop with Prof. Nick Allen. Prof. Allen is a British-Austrian theatre educator, actor, and director and has been our guest for over 20 years now. Once again, several students from the second, third, fourth, and fifth classes had the chance to learn how to debate professionally and practice their use of the English language. The students were taught how to be more persuasive and what to pay attention to when debating. This was a great occasion to learn more about public speaking and to engage in a lively discussion about the topic of abortion.
